What's in the Box? is a Hard Driving, High Energy Classic Rock/Blues/Funk/Dance band. As well as having worked for most of the venues in the area (including venues such as Dover Downs Casino numerous times) we also believe in helping our community when-ever possible. We have played for benefits such as "Boots on the Ground", "Toys for Tots" and have worked with "Practice without Pressure" on numerous occasions" as well as many smaller, local benefits.

Bennie Clowers (drums) was born and raised in N.Y. N.Y. and has recorded and performed extensively in many musical settings from writing jingles in Los Angeles to playing and jamming with a wide variety of artists on both the West and East Coast. Some of these include: Johnny Neel
(Grammy award nominee), The Larry Tucker Band, Johnny Winter, Doug Jones, Dockta "D" and the Infirmary, Kenny Jones, Jaded Angels, Temptations Review with Dennis Edwards, SAS out of N.Y., Buff the Musket, Mary Lou and the Untouchables, Laurie Summerall, lower case blues, Larry Davis Band, Johnny Rotten, Final Cut, Witchdoctors, Roger Girke, Howard Valentine, Tear off the Roof, Blue Blues Band, Larry Yonker Band, Dave Sumner, E.B. Hawkins, Dave Dickson Trio, Flipside, Blue Cat Blues, The Joe Wahl Band, Kenny Wayne, Kitty Mayo and Mikey Jr.
Gerard de Vries also got his start in N.Y. N.Y. working in clubs such
as Kenny's Castaways, The Bottom Line and The West End Cafe. After
sharing the stage with acts such as Johnny Winter, The Radiators, Kenny Quinn, Mahogany Soul, Blue Sky and The Squashed Watermelon Heads he re-located to Delaware. He has frequently performed with Johnny Neel (Grammy award nominee) as well as with much of the local talent....
